I was not born to her but she has whole heartedly adopted me.
Case in point: I was at her house a few weeks back and I mentioned that I have been using my mother in law's machine for about six months, because my old machine literally wore out. and as much as I was thankful for the use of the other machine, M and I were looking at getting another one of my own.
Not but two weeks later do i come down stairs and see a vintage leather bag sitting in the office.
"Oh thats a cute bag"
"Oh! thats a sewing machine!"
That evening when I called my big sister, I ask where in the world did she get me a sewing machine? - from her neighbor who had two and wasnt using this one any longer.
"well, did you pay anything for it?"
"Its been taken care of"
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?"
so with out further aude, let me introduce you to the newest work horse of FitsAllWhoFitIn:
I call her Sally.
She's a lil more mature then my last machine(see below), and we took about a day to "get to know each other" but she works wonderfully.
and here is what I've already made with her in the week we've been together:
three fabric wallets and two more reusable coffee cup sleeves.

I had made a wallet once before here, but I feel like I worked out all the kinks this time around.
This one is my favorite:
last time M screen printed I cut just the outer shell of this one out and sent it along. The print that he did is great, my top stitching isnt, but Sally and I have plenty of time to work on that!

and, Sally came with some awesome vintage accessories. the best being a pin left by the former owner - she was a part of the Fairy Godmother Project.
This post is brought to you by the letters "U" and "I"
my heart leaps with all the possibilities!
Thank you Thank you to my dear friends!
