Really, its super easy
let me show you:

cut two pieces of your desired fabric (im using wool and a poli-satin) to 11in by 14in. them all you need is two ten inch pieces of boning and a magnetic bag snap (I got mine for 99cents, so not as big of a deal as you might think) plus your usual sewing shizz..
step one: fold over and iron both pieces of your fabric wrong sides together. first by a half inch then by an inch or more (you will need to adjust this amount by how big your bag snap is)

2: mark the middle of this folded over strip and snip a lil hole on either side of the mark (only going through one layer)

insert the bag snap

place the backing on and smoosh down the two side "legs"

now fold your ironed folds back over and stitch the hem down
then slide in your piece of boning

repeat all steps on other side of fabric. fold the whole bundle back on its self (ie inside out) and stitch the sides together, careful not to nick the boning ( the measurements I give should give you enough room, a 1/2 inch on either side)
finish off the edges as you wish and flip the bag right side out
